Museums Taste of Heaven Café to Re-open, Bring
Elegant Dining to Beloit
Beloit,
WI (May 1, 2000)--- Exciting things have been happening
at Beloits Angel Museum since its opining in 1998. Now
the museums board and staff are planning the re-opening
of the museums dining area, The Taste of Heaven Café.
The café will be open to the public on May 1st, 2000
and will offer an exciting new menu and atmosphere for guests.
According
to the Angel Museums executive director, Nora Guard, the
image of the café will be one of elegance. We want visitors
feel as if they are in Heaven, said Guard, and the
Taste of Heaven Café will give them that feeling. The
café will offer an elegant ambiance with gold flatware, white
china with gold trim, cloth napkins and new elegant decorations.
In addition to the new image, the café will offer a new menu
featuring salads, sandwiches and soups.
In
coordination with the opening of the café, the Angel Museum
will publish a cookbook filled with recipes from Angel Museum
trustees, volunteers and members. The cookbook will be sold
at the museums gift shop and other places in Beloit. Funds
raised from the cookbook will be used to offset the start up
costs of the café.
To
run the new café, the Angel Museum has hired Nancy Toubl as
the café manager. Toubl is a Beloiter who has owned a food service
business for seven years. Nancy is bringing a lot of energy
and vision to the café, said Guard, she will be
working on implementing a menu and image for the café and we
are very excited to have her on our team.
The
hours for the museum will be Tuesday through Sunday, 7 a.m.
to 2 p.m.
