Send an Email, Make a Sale
Email marketing is simple – send an email to make a sale, get a lead or a click back to your site (this is called a conversion). You’ll want to set your emails up to encourage clicks back to your site. It’s easy to do – just highlight your links with buttons, lines, a bold font, whatever.
Setting Up Your Email
Most email marketers set up an HTML version of their email along with a text version. The HTML version lets you insert images, different fonts, colors, etc. Essentially, it makes it look pretty.
However, not everyone can receive HTML emails, so you need a text version for those who can’t. Your email marketing software will handle sending both versions. Email Marketing Lists
The other important thing about email marketing is your list. If you send your email to the wrong audience, you won’t get those clicks that will turn into sales or leads. You’ll also want your contacts to give their permission to send them an email – if you don’t have this your email conversion rates will go way down.

If you’re smart, you’ll use email marketing software. It makes sending, tracking and managing your lists much more simple. After you have statistics on a few emails, you can improve your click through rates by changing wording, layout, button placement, etc.
